The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant

We came here for dinner and got starters and a main each. We also got a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The service was good overall and the wine was nice. The starters - fried squid and arancini were both delicious. The mains - fillets of Dory and the pasta salad (vegetarian) were also really good. Our waitress Delphine was lovely. The only thing I would say could have been better was the kitchen sent one starter out before the other. It would be better if dishes come together so we are not waiting for the other.

We went last night for our wedding anniversary. My husband had the scotch fillet. It was perfectly cooked, tender and he loved it. Comes with a complimentary side of potato which is unusual these days. I had the wild mushroom risotto. The best risotto I have ever eaten. Loads of flavour, perfect texture and perfect portion size. We shared a cheesecake for dessert which was also delicious. Awesome and memorable dinner. Very good value for money.

The team was exceptionally courteous and professional, the dining area was impeccably clean and well maintained, and their respect for diverse cultures and beliefs was exemplary. Their genuine warmth and attention to detail made the experience particularly memorable. I would highly recommend this venue to guests seeking outstanding hospitality.
